The Broadway Book Mall in Denver, Colorado is a multi-vendor new/used bookstore and is the brick-and-mortar home of TJMusic. Our online inventory is different than our store inventory, which features popular piano/vocal music and music-related books.

Performers Music is a (mostly) classical sheet music store located in the atmospheric Fine Arts Building on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. Lee Newcomer opened the store in 1981 and it is the oldest music store in Chicago.
Luyben Music is a family-owned music store in Kansas City, Missouri that has been in business since 1947. They closed the store in 2020 and are focusing on their special catalogue of music for the clarinet.

Established in 1977 and based in Syosset, New York, Lubrano Music offers an extensive online inventory of classical music autographs and manuscripts; first and early editions of printed music; and rare books, prints, drawings, photographs, and memorabilia relating to music and dance.

Sunset Music has offered a large and varied inventory of classical and popular sheet music (among many other things) in the Sunset District in San Francisco, California since 1948.

Based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Classical Vocal Reprints has been selling print music since 1987. They are specialists for Art Song, Oratorio, Opera, Choral, Musical Theatre scores and Music by Women Composers (published by ClarNan Editions). They report an online inventory of 7000 titles and a total inventory of over 200,000 titles.

Wayne and Cheryl Seppala have operated their store in San Diego since 1978. Their current focus is on organ sales/repair but they periodically have online sales of used print music. Contact them for additional information.

Based in Santa Clarita, California, Theodore Front Music is “the oldest established sheet music and music book dealer in the Western United States for both new and antiquarian material”. Their exhaustive inventory includes music-related books, print music, and CDs/LPs/DVD/Blu-ray titles from both foreign and domestic publishers.

W.G. Still (1895-1978) is often called “The Dean of Afro-American Composers”. This is a family-run business that produces sheet music, recordings, books, and other materials relating to WG Still and his colleagues. We are particularly fond of his piano music.

Since 2008, this company has published newly-updated editions of standard classical and selected new works, good-quality reprints of scanned historic parts and scores in partnership with IMSLP, and a selection of recordings. Their music catalogue is diverse, affordable, and many scores are available in both paper or PDF format. Join their mailing list and you’ll receive their Obscure Music Monday weekly newsletter that highlights interesting and over-looked works.

Repertorio MacDowell has three locations in Mexico City and offers an extensive online inventory of music, particularly Latin American works.

Founded in 1914, Broekmans & van Poppel has two locations: in Amsterdam (Badhoevedorp), and Utrecht. They sell both classical and popular music. Their Badhoevedorp location features a huge inventory of used (mostly classical) music.

De Minstreel is a music store in Kampen, Netherlands. They recently acquired the inventory of Muziekmagazijn Opus 391. They offer a broad selection of used music in their website.

Established in 1977, Archive Bookstore offers a large inventory of both popular and classical used sheet music, scores, and books at their location in Marleybone, London, UK.

Based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, UK, Presto Music has sold online since 2001. They have a large inventory of books, classical recordings, and over 800,000 (classical and popular) sheet music titles.

Bill Holab, an authority on plate engraving and computer-based note setting, engraves music and provides additional services for composers and publishers. His online store offers an impressive selection of works (both rental and retail) by contemporary composers.

Saul Cosentino is an Argentinian pianist, composer, arranger, (and former airline pilot). His prolific recording career began in 1983, and he has received multiple awards along the way. Some of his compositions are available through Tonos, however his website offers a broad selection of his works for purchase and also as free downloads.

Based in the UK, Colin Coleman publishes catalogues of unique, rare, important, and unusual music items (not instruments) by famous and/or obscure composers from all eras.

We have frequently shopped the eBay store of this vendor and have always been impressed by their eclectic and interesting selection of mostly popular/theatric music.
