For Piano Solo. 27 pages. See photo for list of 5 compositions. James P. Johnson (1894-1955) was (from Wikipedia) "the last major pianist of the classic ragtime era and the first major jazz pianist". He wrote songs (including 'Charleston'), light opera, film scores, and symphonic works. He was a major influence on "Fats" Waller, Art Tatum, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and a host of other performers. This relatively scarce album is in remarkably good condition.
